Mobile app development
Mobile products with a clear path from the first interaction to a useful result. From interface and backend to release.
A mobile product built around a useful action
I develop mobile applications that take people from an initial action to a clear result. That might mean scanning a label, creating an image, exploring a location or using information while away from a desk.
The engagement can cover a new product or an extension to an existing application, including the backend and integrations required by its main workflow.
What you can bring
- A product idea has a defined audience and needs a first usable release.
- A workflow depends on the camera, location or other mobile capabilities.
- An existing service needs a mobile interface connected to its accounts and data.
- An application needs subscriptions, AI features or a more complete path from onboarding to its core action.
What I can build
The scope can include onboarding, application navigation, core screens, account access, backend APIs and storage. Camera and location features, AI processing and subscription access are added where they support the product’s purpose.
I work with React Native and Expo. The target platforms and required native integrations are established before implementation, so the project can account for the differences that matter to its users.
How the work is scoped
We define the core action and the smallest complete journey that delivers its result. A scan-based product, for example, needs capture, upload, processing, a readable result and appropriate error states before the journey is useful.
I connect the interface to the real data flow and account for loading, permissions and interrupted requests. Product analytics can help reveal whether users reach the intended result and where they stop.
What you receive
An implemented mobile application and the agreed supporting services. Release preparation can include store submission materials, subscription configuration and a handover covering the application’s operation. Store review remains part of the release process.
To start, describe the intended user, the main action they should complete and the devices or platforms you need to support.
